From humble beginnings…
Adam Woodcock is a third generation butcher who was introduced to the craft by his father. His father worked at Woodcock Custom Meat, a family owned business in Saint Anthony, Idaho. His first experience in the field dates back to when he was about 13 helping his uncle Joe at the fair. Growing up his interests were not in the butcher field, but more in the automotive industry which is where he stayed until fall of 2007. It wasn’t until that year when the economy went down that he decided to go back to his roots. The family business Woodcock Custom Meat had sold, but he and his family still worked at the same location in Saint Anthony. The knowledge he had learned over the years not just working at the butcher shop, but working with good influences realized that the opportunity to start a new generation of what was already in his blood took place in July 2015. It is his personal goal to provide his customers with the knowledge and satisfaction that they expect.
